I already have a small hole drilled to my return nozzle in order to break the siphon when my pump is off. The problem is that the hole is to low from the water line causing more water then I want to drain into my sump. The question I have is if I make another small hole will there be any issues? Thanks

There shouldn't be an issue, whichever hole breaks the surface and starts pulling air first, will break the vacuum and that will determine how much water drains into the sump

Thanks for the quick responses! I will be drilling a new hole!
Drilled mine right at the water line, keep in mind water will also be coming out of that small hole.
