Straight shot at full siphon is 960 gph. Not sure what it would be with the bends

So looking at that chart it would be safe to say duel 1" drains could handle 1500 gph? That would be way over kill for a 55gal tank lol

Thinking I may go with a pump about 750 or so when I upgrade. Will have to see how strong of a flow that will give me with a split return. I know when I tried my wife's return pump rated at 750 with a single return it made the flow in the tank rough and my frog spawn did not want to open

You can use 5 eights to just adds a little more pressure
