I would go definitely go with a pump that has a controller, it's nice to be able to control the flow. What is your budget?
For the price I highly recommend Simplicity Aquatics, they make a quality product, they don't break the bank and customer service is top notch. Someone you'll even catch the owner manning the phones. They aren't the most feature rich pumps but they do a great job!

If quality isn't the highest priority you could also look at Jaebo, you run the risk of getting a defective product or something that you might have to replace within a year. I'd do some heavy research on Jaebo if you went this route.
Top ones that I would recommend are but they are a little more pricey:
Reef Octo VarioS4
Vectra M1
Neptune Cor15
