I bought some Revive and it says add 4 capfuls to 3.8 gal of tank water. Does anyone have their own formulation for mixing up just a few cups? Like 2mil to 3 cups or something like that.

Is it the REEFreshments REVIVE Live Zooxanthellae we're talking about? :) My instructions are somewhat different from yours.

I have been using it previously without much result. I did follow the dosing instructions on the back, although checking on mine is says to add 1/4oz. (approximately 1 capful) per 10 gallons daily or every other day (as needed).

A little vague; I stopped it after about three months as I didn't really see any significant changes. With time though (+3 months after i stopped dosing), my corals in the tank I had issues with are looking much healthier so chances are it might have done something.

What are you hoping to achieve?

Hopefully we are not talking about Coral Revive from Two Little Fishies???

it's 40ml (4 capfuls) per 3.8L which is 1 gallon. So if you are wanting to use cup measurements for your dip you will want to add 2.5mL per cup of tank water. If you don't have a way to measure in mL then add one capful to 4 cups of tank water.

I would measure the amount in a cap (however you want - with a syringe, etc) - then you can easily calculate a smaller dose - which will probably also require a syringe-type measure anyway>

I'm just wanting to add it to a Tupperware bowl of tank water and use it as coral dip. Not adding to tank. I'm thinking a capful or 5ml to say 4 cups of water.
