What could be upsetting this specific RFA? Has been in the tank for about 24 hrs.
What should I watch out for?
Buried one should I dig it and put it back on a rock or will it be fine?
TIA

I've had them completely bury their self in the sand. They pop back up when they want to, but I usually blow a bit of sand away to know they are still there.

I had one not like a spot, shrink, and finally move and growing again, many times I thought about moving it myself but left it alone.

They are very tough, let them find the spot they like. Some like the rocks, some like the sand, some like the glass.

One option is to use PVC caps and place them in it with sand to help keep them from roaming. They tend to like to have their foot on something solid. But they are a nem and will roam if they really want to.

Yes, leave them alone. I just added 5 of them this week and one was completely buried in sand yesterday. Today it dug itself out.

They’re just adapting to your tank. Both look okay.
There's 3 of them though if you look at the first picture you will see some yellow beside the red/pink one.
That one is the one that I'm worrying about a little.
I noticed some of my other coral closed up and can't seem to figure out why. My parameters came back okay so I thought maybe a toxin?

Mine have and still do this, it's normal. Settling in, digesting, pooping. Give it time.
Thank you so much. That thing had me a little worried there for a min. Lol the big difference between that one and the other two is what threw me off.
