Rich's San Francisco Build

Great looking tank! Awesome selection. The 2 part, chemipure bag and water changes is all you need:)

Awesome acans! Any new FTS? :D

I wish I could get a good FTS Rev. Unfortunatly I designed all the rock work for a top down look so if I take a FTS from the front you can't reall see anything. And from the top the light fixture gets in the way of the camera. You'll just have to swing by next time you are in SF

I am heading over to SF later this month. Where is the best place to check out corals? Master scoly and such. Thanks in advance.

Google California reef company, Diablo corals, and Neptune's. Shoot Darwin at legendary corals a pm too

Beautiful collection!! I have a similar light setup as you. Could you post your light schedule including the times the reef rites are running.. Sorry if I missed this in your thread and you already answered this question.

I run my reefbrites from 8am to 10pm. Roughly from when I leave for work until when I go to bed. Probably too long.

Then I have 4 blue+ bulbs running from noon to 7pm.

A quick little update with some no-name SPS pieces

This piece was from Cherry. The pink keeps getting deeper

Got this one from Andy (Reefer831)

And this one too

And this one

Reef Raft Asia Green Arrow

ATL Sunset Mille

Grafted Starburst Cap

A few Nice LPS Shots

Finally getting some new rainbow eyes

Excellent photos. I really enjoy following your build. Random question - what is your dip process when you are adding new corals?

I dip every coral in Bayer for 30 min prior to adding to my tank. That is regardless of what it is, if it doesn't make it through the process it wasn't meant to be.

30 mins?! I would be sweating my butt off worried...then I would probably forget that I was doing something tank-related around minute 28, so they would actually dip for a day or so :p Hope all is well Bro :)

Wow man, stunning corals and photos. I don't think I've ever seen coral this nice in person! Are you going to the grand reopening of Ca reef co?

Survival of the fittest. Only the hardcore make it into my tank lol. But I haven't lost anything to date.
