Very cool setup
great dimensions! can't wait to see this grown out.
what rainbow is this ? and how big is it ?
About the size of a quarter. Rainbow crush
Man your tank seems to be every reefers dream man
How do you take photos? Specifically, how do you adjust your white balance so well? And what kind of camera/lens set up do you have?
Hey man I'm headed to san fran on the 25th. Any local fish stores or anything I should check out? Planning on hitting steinhart as well.
You have some great pieces looks awesome!
Looking great Rich!
Question, any particular reason why you switched from LED's to T5's? do you mind sharing your lighting schedule? Thanks
I use a custom made top down viewer. Very similar to the one avast makes. As far as white balance I use a custom white balance setting and then use a brand new frag plug as the reference point. Camera wise I have an old Pentax dslr (6 years old now). The lens is more important though. I have a tamron 90mm macro. Seriously a fantastic lens for everything from fish tank stuff to portraits.
Big reason was because I didn't want to buy a second kessil to get enough lighting to grow sps well in my setup. The tank was a little long for just one kessil or even just one radion so I thought I'd give t5s a try.
Do you ever plan to going back to LED's? Also, lighting schedule? lol Thanks
Probably not switching back to full LEDs. I like the t5 reefbrite combo

Are you running your coral + 7 hours also?
Boom goes the Bower!!

Finally a decent full tank shot. Bare in mind I set this up as a top down tank.
