So as follow-up, this lil shroom is looking good. He ended up NOT splitting but seems to have fully (nearly?) healed.

Wifey is releived. She loves shrooms. She’s always been a cheap date haha

Okay fully healed updates. Also I was more careful moving it this time and peeled it off the frag rack intact. Have rehomed it, but in the process noticed I believe two buds on the underside! Score, as the wifey loves these guys

Yup, looks like during the tear it left a couple babies

I have a yuma that's been through an MP-10 about 4 times and then floated around in the shadows for the last 5 months and it's still kickin... nukes anything it touches. They're beyond tough.

back in the day, when i clouldn't have enough mushrooms in my tank, i'd razorbade cut them all the time. they'll heal.
