Hello!. So I recently less than a month ago purchased this ricordia which had multiple heads already, I had placed it on this rock towards the end of my tank where there shouldn’t be to much flow and light. And for a while it was not moving or anything it seemed comfortable, I read they tend to move if they want a better spot, I noticed a few days ago the coral was slowly moving over the edge of the rock day by day it was inching more and more off the edge to the point where it was dangling over and swinging lightly. Figured it was making a decent off the rock. Now I look at this and it seems like it’s being pulled apart from the rock with one part still remaining attached. Should I intervene and put back on the rock? Or do I leave it be to eventually what looks like it would tear off the rock on its own please help!:)

Better pic sorry for the dirty glass alittle hard to clean there at the moment, coral is still alive well, can’t tell if it’s doing this on purpose or if gravity forced it

He'll probably split on his own. I've cut them in half before with a sharp blade if you'd prefer.
Welcome to the club.

Its falling apart and likely from too much flow or lack of nutrients but I think flow issue
