Hi, so my BTA ripped in transport, not in half, just basically so that it is one lone line essentially. I know that they can recover, and it has been 18 hours and 3/4 of the line is doing decently, and the other 1/4 is clearly dead.

Should I cut back the dead part? In the photo, the dead part is in the middle and not visible.

As long as your tank meets the needs of an anemone I would leave it be.

Leave it be. It doesn't work like you are describing.
