Other than getting a 20 ft long usb extension cord, has anyone figured out how to make this thing go wireless? I thought about a usb hub but that would require a 20 ft long network cord to the net.
I really don't have anything for a computer close to the tank. We don't have a laptop anymore, since I have one for work. (can't add the reef 2.0 to that). I once had this hooked up wirelessly, 5 years ago but the signal would go in and out. There has to be away to plug a sid in wirelessly!

Tried a usb hub, but that sends the controller in a frenzy and shuts down all modules and sets of an alarm.

I have used a WiFi usb server before without issue. It was by Hawking I believe.
