RKL to Computer

Just purchased an RKL, it came with the computer adapter. I do not know how to connect it to the computer as there are not enough ports. I tried a duel phone jack connector but it shuts things off. The directions do not show how to connect to the computer. Please help.

You need a 6-pin STRAIGHT-THROUGH dual jack. The phone connectors are typically a cross over and won't work. I picked up my straight-through at a local PC parts store.

Disconnect a line going into a port on one of the modules and then plug the connector into that port. Plug the SID into one of the connector's ports and plug the line that you disconnected into the other port. You should be good to go.

Thanks Peter, Good to read you. I think I have what I need just waiting for extra bus cables to arrive before I hookup. Do you use the Reef keeper??
