What is a good cheap laptop to use to set up my RKL?wish they mad a Mac program

No. Rkl is not unless u add net module. Any windows PC with Windows 7 will work. 10 can be finicky

Surface tablets will not work. Laptops OK.

FYI, the Archon is Mac compatible. In fact it will work with most devices that have a web browser. It is also compatible with most of the RKL modules. If you ever outgrow the RKL or need more conectivity with the controller.
