SCA 150 w/ 68 Gallon Sump. Got it plumbed, filled and cycling this weekend. Just need lights!
Really nice looking.
Nice! What lights you intending on running?
Debating between G4 Radion Pros or Hydra 52's. Either one will get supplemented with a few T5 retrofits mounted in the hood
Transferred all my fish and coral this weekend. Everybody is happy and doing well. If anything I've never seen my corals look so nice (better pics to follow)
I really like these SCA tanks! Big jump you are making!! Maybe one day I will be there.
Yes - HUGE jump and HUGE tank... so far loving it. Quality seems amazing.
Was very interesting to see how empty it still was after moving all my livestock
Following. I've always liked SCA Tanks.
Following along I love my SCA, here is a link to my build thread if you want to check it out.
So far very happy with my choice. Debated between this and Red Sea.
Looks good, how silent did you get the tank?
A few tank progression pics (shot with iPhone, not great quality)
A few recent closer up shots
Tank is looking good! Did you get the plug and play version? I am still dreaming of upgrading to their 150 or 240.
Side by side - 5 months growth on my Zoa patch
That zoa garden is really filling in!
Yes, got the 150 gallon system as-is. Only change I made was using real plumbing vs the hoses they provided for drain and return flow. Overall amazing quality, no complaints. Only change I would have made is to maybe have some storage room in the cabinet (the sump they provide takes up the entire cabinet and is too big to remove)
Yeah I understand the need for storage. Is there much noise to it? Mine will be in the livingroom and being able to tune it down to fairly quiet will be important for my wife's approval!
