Question, if I used a rock in a QT tank with copper, anyway to clean it? Going to sell off some dry rock and don’t want to hand someone a bomb.

Only way I've heard of was soaking it long term in water around 6-12 months. But, I've never done this so no first hand knowledge of how long it takes for the water to register zero copper. I've also heard of people using copper absorbing filters to speed it up.
