I was given this rock beauty a few months ago he has been doing great in my 200 gallon with other angels and sharks today I found him laying on his side and not really moving just drifting. I moved him to one of my 55s in an acrylic divider what should I do to help him. He is breathing very rapidly and not eating

This fish has a pinched belly and are generally one of the harder florida species to maintain long term. The scales appear raised and this fish looks to be moribund in which it may not eat or swim normal moving forward. I cant see mouth but if it got startled and crashed into object, may have been starting cause

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

I agree, rock beauties are very difficult to keep long term. Very few live past the year mark in aquariums.

I see some minor fin and scale damage, but that doesn't seem severe enough to cause this sort of symptoms. Can you post a video? I'm afraid there is likely little you can do for this fish, but you do want to try and follow through with a diagnosis in case the issue is contagious.

This post explains all that:
