I bought 8 rock flowers a bit over a week ago and one of them tucked itself down into a crevice in the rock where it couldn't open fully. I went to feed this afternoon and it was gone, or so I thought. It has retracted very deep inside the rock now, so deep I can barely see a few tentacles. The other 7 are doing fine. Should I be concerned? I have no idea how I'd possibly get it out of the hole either. Suggestions?

It'll come out sooner or later. There's always that one or two that don't want to cooperate. I've got about 30 now and I've got a couple that insist on wondering around the tank. They'll go into holes and behind rocks or wherever they want. Thankfully they are not my best looking.

Thank you. This forum is awesome! It is one of my prettier ones, but I have another just like it that's fully open and seems happy where I placed it.

Good to know about this. I've had mine for more than 3 months now but last night it decided to contract and go into the rock, I was worried .

It will come out. Mine took about a week to settle on a spot but hasn't moved since.
