Rock Flower Anemone

Hello Guys,
I have this rock flower anemone that yesterday was hanging off a rock. I placed him back on another side of the rock and he's reattached. However, there is all this white stringy stuff attached to him. Please can you take a look at the video and tell me what it could be and whether I can treat it?

Does its foot still attach to the rock? At this point I'd say your RFA is in critical condition. Time to think about last ditch efforts. If it is movable wothout hurting its foot, you can take it out and treat it in a hospital tank, e.g., ciprofloxacin:

I've done it a couple of times for nems and seen some general improvement, but I can't say it was the cipro or if the dosage was correct. It's a gamble, but I doubt you'll find out what your nem has to fine tune it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Tank is 2 years old. There are only two clowns in the tank. I've only had it about a week. I bought two, the other one is fine. Should I just remove it and get rid of it then?

That's quite early to be getting an anemone. How did you start your tank? Live rock and sand or dry rock and sand? If the latter, the nem might be reeling from being introduced into a relatively sterile environment. I lost 3 BTAs in my first tank before I switched my dry rocks to ocean-direct live rocks (Tampa Bay Saltwater), and after that have had much better success with both nems and corals. Not saying it can't be done with dry rocks, of course, but it might be a longer road to get to a "hospitable" environment or require very detailed husbandry.

Did you read the first line correctly. The tank is 2 Years Old! I have two other rfa's, one that I've had for over a year.

Sorry, brain jumbling words--I read it as 2 weeks old, 1 week in tank. It does that sometimes.

Hard to tell fully with the blue color, but it doesn't look like usual expelling from mouth. Just straight up disintegrating.

Some just don't make it sadly. Can you take a picture in white?

If the foot is still strong, it has a chance, but its not looking good. I started using acclimation boxes to place nems in to adjust in the tank before releasing it in the display.

UPDATE:

I was going to remove that rfa out of the tank yesterday but it was still attached. This morning I looked and noticed it had fallen off the rock so got the net out ready to scoop it out.

But it's attached to my GSP and is colouring up so I've left it. I really thought I'd lost it.
