A friend of mine has had multiple rock flowers and for some reasone one melted on him. It seemed to have poisened his whole tank. Coral are unhappy across the board. Weve done multiple water changes and activated carbon but his LPS is looking horrible. Any other suggestions?

all levels seem to be fine and in range. Nitrates, Phosphates, Alk all standard range. Theres a skimmer 120 gallon total volume. I was thinking it was some sort of bacteria issue from it melting. Not sure what else to try water changes, activated carbon, etc?
