rock question

Not sure if this is were I should post this so plz move if needed.

I got some rock from LFS and it has some die off on it. I was wondering if I added it to my tank if it will cause problems? It is a pretty big piece my tank is 225 gallons.

Was it out of water for a long period of time?

No it came in like most lfs get them in wet newspaper over night and then was put in there back room to cook. I wanted it so didnt wait for it they said they usually wait 30 days before putting it out front.

Hmmm I might be inclined to go ahead and put it in my own tank if it were me. As long as it doesn't stink I think your golden! :D
