You can get the curing time down to a week with acetic acid. :)

Maybe I will take a few photos.
Ah ok yea I am not messing with that. I had a friend who used it and did not like it at all. I rather wait the 5-6 weeks to cure it

Vinegar is acidic acid just a lower concentration. I would use vinegar.. It is safer!

First this looks awesome! Is the post correct, is it really just 1 (one) dollar?
I see a few have talked about shipping. Did you figure out how much it cost to ship?

You may want to edit your price if you intend to sell more. Very nice work.

In all my years of saltwater, I’ve NEVER heard of rocks leaching alkalinity.

...maybe phosphates.
They will if they are adhered with or made with concreat. :)

In fact, I have personally noticed that even none man made rock release alkalinity into the water as part of the anaerobic bacterial process in the rock. As a system gets older, this process can decrease ultimately requiring more alkalinity additives to be added to keep alk adaquatly high. This is a highly variable process and is affected by rocks make up, internal structure, density, etc. ..

Concrete yes; must have missed that part.
I just made a very large structure for a 300 gallon... I soaked it in vinegar water for a couple weeks to bring down the alk levels.. It is good now.. I agree with rocks leaching phosphates... especially if they are dried reef rocks..
