I like all the negative space. What are your future plans for the tank? Looks like you have it set up for corals.

I’m going for a few more fish, including at least one tang. A gobbie of some sort, maybe a wrasse. I get my stuff mostly from Pacific East Aquaculture as they are an easy drive away. Plus, my wife wants to help with the selections so whatever catches her eye.

Corals are a big part of the plan. I like LPS so I’ve created spots where they can have room around them without damaging the others. I plan on at least one brain coral, some acans and micromusas. Probably a hammer/torch/frogspawn or two. I may try for some SPS but I’ve had limited success with those in the past and this tank is aimed more at lagoon/sand bed vs reef crest. A low key reef.

Congrats on the reef! Got lots of space for some awesome stuff! You and your wife should look into a Midas Blenny or a Yasha Goby. If your wife is into cute animals, those are definitely some cute and entertaining fish to have in your reef. :)

There’s a green clown blenny available right now that’s caught my eye. Was also thinking of a goby that burrows into the sand as I have a bunch of LS from TBS full of shells. We will see what I can come up with going forward. I’m not in a rush this time around.

Oh nice! They are a really good business. Glad you have them near you!
