Leaving town tomorrow and I’m out of new resin for . Tds meter reads 1 but I’m nervous to add it due to a diatom outbreak any thoughts or advice?

I've used 1 TDS water. It's still better than 100 TDS. Diatom outbreaks can be an opportunity to feed the tank with copepods too.

I can't remember if it was WorldWide Corals or BRS but they did a walk thru and they don't change it until it hits 4 TDS

You should be ok

(fair warning I'm new to reefing but I research heavily)
