All RODI units I’ve seen seem to have the Flow —> moving from left to right through the different canisters. Can the flow go right to left simply by exchanging the canister positions and swapping which side you put the inlet and outlet?

This would be for a 7 stage BRS system.

Oh you’re ocd like me! Ha

Remove the screws holding the canisters and membrane clips to the wall bracket, flip the bracket 180, reinstall the screws holding the canisters and membrane clips to the bracket.

HOUSING lids (the white part in the pic below) have a clearly labeled IN and OUT port. You can arrange the lids however you like as they are mounted to the metal bracket by 4 screws each. Just be sure you understand the correct order of the filter cartridges you'll put into the housings. They can be mounted with the ports on the front and back (typically with quick connect male elbows screwed into the ports), or with ports on the right and left (where they can be connected with threaded nipples).

We've tried hard over the years to get RODI users in this hobby to use the correct jargon when we talk/post about RODI issues. This goes a long way towards streamlining effective communication. It's the other end of the spectrum from people calling parts "thingies." Then along came a certain popular online pet store who started calling these items "canisters." Ugh.
