Rodi pressure gauge bouncing after booster pump install

Just installed a booster pump to my rodi unit and this is my 1st time using one.
However since installing the pressure gauge bounces like crazy, below is how I have it setup.
Now I'm wondering do I have air in the system? Or is it the gauge?

Possibly, I read on another thread on here about putting a needle valve between the gauge and the 't piece' so ive ordered this from amazon to try

Don't do that.

You just need a liquid filled gauge. https://www.buckeyehydro.com/pressure-gauges-1/
