I’m planning on making a basic brute can rodi storage at the new house. I use a booster pump on my rodi and wondering how to install a shutoff when there is a booster pump in the mix. Will pumping against the shut flow burn out the pump or are they made to handle that sort of thing?

If you have an aquatec booster pump I believe this is required in order to shut the pump off otherwise it will just continue to pump...

I have one of these.

I'm pretty sure the shut off is built into that unit.

When using a booster pump there should be a pressure switch involved. If so, that will turn on and off the pump based on the electrical setup (normally closed or open) and the config of the RODI unit
