The connector that goes in to the RO membrane housing is leaking (circled in red), I either need to get a new fitting, or a whole new housing if I cannot source the fitting.

I probably damaged it taking the cap off to replace the membrane, something tells me I should have disconnected the hose feeding it first so I didn't turn that fitting in the housing cap when removing it :(

Are you able to determine if the leak is coming from the push-to-connect side of the elbow, or the threaded (RO housing) side of the elbow?

— Knowing which of the elbow’s two connections is the culprit dictates the recommended plan of action to fix the leak!

It is the threaded side.

Ah!

— the elbow probably just needs to be tightened a rotation or three (unless the it’s physically cracked)!

— pulling that blue locking clip out of that elbow’s push connect side will allow you to unlock/remove the tube from the elbow fitting, allowing it to be rotated independent of the RO membrane housing!

— tighten this elbow by hand into the RO membrane housing, don’t use tools or it can easily be broken… once hand-tight/oriented in roughly the correct direction, reconnect tubing and lock mechanism, ensuring tubing is fully seated in elbow…

— pressure test and check for leaks! If no leaks are present, it’s fixed!

— if the leak persists, remove tubing, unscrew elbow completely, apply a NPT thread sealant paste to the threads of the elbow, then reinstall elbow hand-tight.. . Finally, reconnect tubing, and pressure test!

This shockingly worked.

I’ll check in a few min, but it’s on, under pressure and dry
