Just changed all the filters on my 4 stage brs rodi. I noticed that right afterwards my tds was Zero five minutes later it was around 002 then would jump to 003 then jump to 000. This would continue its now been running about 15 minutes and it's still jumping. What can the issue be. The tds meter is about 1 month old now just replaced it. Is this a result of pressure or do I need more stages.

Did you allow each cartridge to rinse before adding the next? It could be residue from the new cartridges. I would let it run for a little while and see if it goes back down to 0.

First off, .003 is insanely good. It's about to go to 10,000 tds when you add your salt mix. Just let it run. Could be water in the lines. Could be dust from carbon or DI. After 15 minutes you probably don't even have all the air out yet. No worries.

Sediment and carbon filters have very little to absolutely nothing to do with TDS which is in the 0.0001 micron range.
When you changed the filters there is probably air in the system which will take time to work itself out. Did you take the time to disinfect the system per manufacturers recommendations while you had it apart?
What exactly did you change? What is your tap TDS, RO only TDS and final RO/DI TDS? Did you allow time for the TDS creep to clear itself?

What meter are you using and is it ATC temperature compensated? How are you testing, is the glass or sample container clean and are you allowing the meter readings to stabilize before recording the readings?

The readings are not .003, it is 3, there are no decimal points and the meter reads to 3 whole numbers. What appears to be a decimal on most meters is a power ON indicator light.
The TDS of fresh saltwater is somewhere over 32,000 TDS and way beyond the range of a TDS meter.
A TDS of 003 to me means it is time to do some troubleshooting and replace the DI cartridge at a minimum, it is not good.

No what I am saying is did you go through the proper filter replacement sequence and if not do you know what your parameters are at each stage or point in the treatment process so you can identify the issue if there is one.
