Rodi waste water hookup

bringing my rodi in from the garage and looking to hook it up in the bathroom behind my tank

Issue is the plumbing is 1.5 in pvc my thought would be to tap it for a fitting but anyone else have any ideas?

saddle clamp wont work trying to get a picture to load but having issues

I mean im bot opposed to putting it after the trap but was reading its not a good idea

There are many other option other than drilling. One of these being one of them. They come in multiple fitting types.

You can also purchase one of these buy a flat cap and drill the cap. Orings work much much better on flat surfaces reduces the chances of a leak.

Like with everything sometimes the easy/cheap route now will cost you the most later.

Ask yourself what's cheaper $30 worth of plumbing parts + 2 hours of my time or a ruined vanity, ruined floor, ruined baseboards ect....

I dont thing tapping the pipe would be an issue though and fitting i picked up also has an off vavle so it wont ever need to be removed
