Hi so very new to the reef keeping I would like so advice I just installed my first rodi unit and as it’s going in the bucket it’s 0:00 ppm but when I start to heat it up it rises is this normal

Welcome, as long as it’s zero when made I wouldn’t worry about it. You can’t test it once you add anything to it

If youre referring to TDS, it remains constant. It may be your test kit

My guess is it isn't actually heating that is raising the TDS. 0 TDS water doesn't like to stay 0 TDS anything in the air or container can easily dissolve and increase the TDS. All that matters is that the water is 0 right as it leaves the unit.
