Roller Mat help...

So i have this sump and I was looking into the Klir DI-7 but noticed it said it needed a 1.5 above the filter socks to allow it to rotate the roll. But my issue is there is less than an inch of room before the overflow from the sock compartment to the next space is. Is there any roller mat that would fit this or no?

Surely you can remove the lid from that compartment?
