Room light and probably even sunlight through a closed widow is probably not enough PAR to allow for photosynthesis in the zooxanthellae.

So to both the fish and corals it will just be like twilight or night with a full moon. In other words, no real effects good or bad.

My lps don’t show as strong of a feeding response at night if there is room lights on, so I’m going to say it does effect corals. The extent of how much and is there negative effects besides lack of feeding response, I’m unsure.
