Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience, research, and listening to people who are more knowledgeable than you about the hobby. So many people think they know better than the veterans. Also accept that what works for some won't work for alls. Some of your fish and coral just won't thrive, no matter how hard you try, you likely just won't make it work even though it seems like you should on paper. Just the nature of the game.
You had me at "Controllers are for people who drive nicer cars than I do", seriously.

Man those fish look tiny in that big tank.

Why did you name the tank Roxanne?

:)

I think the controller comment is hilarious haha. I have an apex myself and barely know how to use it, but it does give me peace of mind when I go out of town!

Roxanne is on the short list of names if I ever ended up unexpectedly had a baby daughter along with Lourdes, and Stefania. I don't know why I never cared about a baby son's name ?!!

I have Meros power strips and a rotating camera in my stand cabinet, the motion sensor did catch an overflowing skimmer as well. I just can't afford the $,$$$ dosers and instruments and such. No, just test tubes and drops and pouring out a shot of alk and Calc every day or two. seems to be working so far. Don't get me wrong, many setups GREATLY benefit from all the high tech automation, but I can't afford any of that, can barely afford what I have!
