Not sure that's a deluxe...deluxe has a solid white baseplate that the motor sits on as well as the wedge pipe having a separate elbow. I'm interested, only reason I'm questioning the update.

i don't disagree that this is a early ******* child of the 200 it does not have the elbow as you say but it also has the long neck of the deluxe from the shoulder to the bottom of the collection cup that the standard 200 appears not to have. This is definitely last generation. It is somewhere in between. that being said it is a heck of a skimmer

Great deal for. A great skimmer!! I almost pulled the trigger on one of these for my tank. This was too big so I got the Double Cone 200, BK skimmers are the real deal!
