Howdy,

I read on live aquaria that they require less intense lighting? Do people have experience with them at normal lighting plans ?

Obviously I need my lights full swing for my corals however, I wouldn't wanna force the fish Into more light than it's supposed to have.

I have a black cap basslet that's same/similar and has the same requirements. He's out swimming all over the place a lot of the time, but I have several overhangs and arches in my rock where it can hang out in the shade.

Mine also dug himself a burrow under the back of my rocks. I see him come out now and then and spit a mouthful of sand all over my corals

Understood maybe they'd find shelter under a rock overhang

Have had one a few years under AI hydra 52s with no problems and no color loss. Great reef tank addition.
I’d be more concerned with providing a good sized tank with lots of live rock. They do like to hover around steep rock work.
We were blessed to see them diving in the caymans long ago. Awesome fish.

I think it'll have sufficient spots to hide but it may fight for the spots with the other fish it would be added with.

Thanks for the info
