Royal gramma

i currently have a royal gramma 2 frostbite clowns and recently added a mandarin goby and my royal gramma bullies it whenever it comes out of the rocks but tends to leave the clownfish alone unless they get too close and im worried its stopping my goby from getting pods should i wait it out or remove my royal gramma

pretty much all over the tank he doesnt let the mandarin leave the back corner of the tank basically because thats its spot but anywhere near the middle of the tank is off limits for the mandarin while clownfish swim freely

I would remove the Mandarin. 35 gallons simply won't be able to maintain enough pods to keep a mandarin fed and they don't do well with tank bullies (Mine ran afould of an aggressive Red Head Salon Fairy Wrasse and it didn't end well for the Mandy).

That's unusual. But if the mandarin isn't able to freely graze it will suffer. Unfortunately a 35g is great for a mandarin without being bullied.

I have 50lb+ of rock in here as well as a refugium

one of two choices remove the gramma or remove the Mandy.

IMHO that's still not enough. They need 75lbs or more plus a refugium. Keep in mind they need to feed almost constantly during the waking hours and unfortunately what you have isn't quite enough.
