I just bought a royal urchin or tuxedo urchin. Anyways, yesterday i did a proper acclimation like floating and drip acclimation as the lfs told me that they dont prone to salinity shock. When i added it in my tank it started moving up and down and rocks to rocks. I woke up this morning and saw it on my sandbed upside down where there was a a white spot or its mouth is exposed.i tried to move it and its like in a chill mode. Not entirely moving but spines are moving in every other direction (powerheads are off.). So salinity is same as my lfs at 1.026 water params nearly perfect 1360 mg 460ca 8.1alk ph at 8.8 the amo nitrites nitrates 0.
