So I just purchased an @Crystal Reef Aquatics triton replacement sump which I'm excited about but the plumbing, not so much. I've been researching for a while so I know what parts I need. I'm not going to do a manifold or anything crazy. I just had a couple questions I couldn't find answers to and I was hoping for some advice.

1)How far below the waterline do I plumb the drains?
2)The return and emergency drain are 25mm and main drain is 32mm inside the overflow. I have the Cor15 I bought a while back (wish I bought the 20) and they recommend 1 1/4" pipe for optimal flow. I've seen people modify the plumbing in overflow but I dont see myself taking that on. So would making the return line 1 1/4" be a waste or would there be any benefit in it? I'm going with 1" on both drains so I don't have to buy all different sizes. Or should I stick with 1" all around?
