rtn on my acros

I feel kind of newbie posting in tank emergency but watever...
I'm presently dealing with some kind of rtn on some (few) of my acros, this type of necrosis is different of what i experienced in the past. Usualy the acro die fast but now they seem to heal back (in 2 weeks time), the necrosis still progress but some parts that were "dead" are now healed.

This necrosis was attributed to a swing in my alk (lower than 6 to 8.4kh in 3 days) but i'm not certain, in the past i had my fair share of swings (rip all my pocilloporas) and this particular acro (blue tort) never did that. Still working on the alk problem but it should be ok in a few days (my dosing pump needed calibration).

So this week i did some more test and i founded my no3 to be 0 (usualy +-10) and my phosphate also at 0.00 (usualy 0.04).
I have cyano in the system, is it possible that they absorb the n and p?
Also i started to dose "coral booster" from zeovit 2 weeks ago (4 ml/2 days), does this product affect the n and p? From my understanding this product add things in the water, not the other way around.
Any ideas or experience with this product? Thanks

About my p04, i was running rowa but stopped it when i saw the result. I usualy run rowa and change it monthly/bimonthly.

Clueless about the KZ dropping phos. or nitrates...

But we both know that you need to get your alk stable and to bring up your phos. and nitrates.

I'd stop the KZ to rule out that factor for sure.

FWIW:
I've used the KZ Trace Complex and the KZ Seawater Complex.
From what I can tell, my BTA's do not do well with those two... , and dumped them down the drain.

Always had great success with with Red Sea "Colors" program, but always dosed on the low side to my calcium's intake.

Thanks! i think i will follow your advice as this is the only (with flatworm stop wich is the third bottle i'm dosing and no issue for the previous 2) product out of my routine i'm presently dosing other than the three mains (kh, ca, mg).

Will see in the following weeks...
