Currently have an RTN problem with on of my acropora. Looked good late lastnight around 12pm, woke up at 5am to half of my pc rainbow colony missing half of it skin. I'm currently getting out the saw and going to cut off what I think I might be able to save. Any insights? Tests yesterday morning were
Alk 9.6
Cal 443
Mag 1650..i know its high. Im assuming this might be some of my issue
N03 20ppm
Po4 .08
The high mag is my own doing, made a larger correction, about 17ppm of calcium with fusion1 and forgot its not just calcium. This was 2 weeks ago and i haven't noticed anything abnormally with it being elevated. Whats everyone's go to dip for acropora RTN issues, I currently have some revive on the shelf i was going to try on a few frags to see if it helps.

I would frag it before its too late, if you lost half last night then you will lose the other half tonight, it happens so quickly. There is no dip that I'm aware of

Its unknown exactly what causes it, its thought to be changes in alk. For me, IME it happens when I make mistakes on my alk and spike it or drop it fast.

I just tested alk, and it was 10.1. For some reason, my consumption slowed down or stopped last night. I only dose 3ml of fusion 2 at night from 11:45pm to 7:00am when lights turn on, when my ph tends to be lower. My cal just tested at 458. I only dose cal from 8:00am to 10:00pm.

My stag is now on its way out. This flesh loss is just from today. Id say out of the 4 frags i managed to get off my pc rainbow 2 did not continue to lose flesh and 2 lost everything. All other acropora and look fine as of now but time will tell.
