Run water change water outside?

I'm thinking of putting my AWC line out a old coax cable hole that's next to my tank. I would need to run it down the outside wall & about 5 ft. to stone so not to kill a shrub with the saltwater. I'm worried it might freeze in winter or a bug or something might clog it. Anyone doing this?

You will likely will eventually get salt stains in the area you run it to. It will be unsightly.

used SW I'm pretty sure kills your lawn

so get an extension pipe and pump it into your neighbor's lawn

I would find a drain to run it too. Does your rain gutters run into a drain??
