I was so upset coming home from a 3 day business trip to find my huge toadstool leather I think bit the dust (literally). When I left I noticed one little spot on the outer rim that looked a little lighter in color and had produced a little mucus. Didn't seem to unusual. But it blew the mucus off and left. My spouse was doing feeding. But it doesn't seem like any unusual events happened. Parameters seem ok.

Any chance it may come back? It looks pretty white and melted. If not, would you attempt to remove it from the rock or frag the red mushrooms onto something else. It's a small piece almost completely taken up by the leather.

Toadstools are pretty resilient, I ran into very low, non detectable, nutrients in the past and mine turned bone white, but came back once I corrected the problem. What are your parameters and how long have you had it?
