I have had 40 lbs cured live rock for 2 months in a bucket. I added this plus 75 lbs premium LR from GLR and 40 lbs Australian Live Rock from Tank Stop last week and 200 lbs live sand from GLR. I've tested every other day for a week and never had ammonia or nitrite. Yesterday morning my nitrate was about 5 and I did a 10% water change. Today it is around 10. I have some snails and crabs (got with the 40 lbs 2 months ago). I see a lot of life on the rock (a couple of corals, lots of tubes with fans sticking out (not sure what these are called), some macros and sponges, 5 clams that came on the GLR. Seem alive, I see some of them opening and closing sometimes. Not sure if I should leave these, if they will make it.

I have an order from Reef Cleaners coming later this week with more cuc.

I plan for my first additions to be a goby or two and maybe a hardy soft coral. Not sure when I can do either or both of these. I never saw any ammonia and I assume it is safe to add but this is why I am asking. Want to make sure.

Thanks!

It sounds like you have plenty of biological goodness. I don't see why you cant ad a small fish or two, take it slow.
guessing the tank is over 150G?

Using all the rock you bought skipped you over cycling. You may still have an ugly phase but wont last long.

I am jealous, sorry not jealous... envious, I am envious... I want to ad 50-100 lbs of GLR to my 300G

I think you're fine to slowly add some hardy livestock, given all the live rock and sand you used here, and that you're not seeing any ammonia. Good luck!
