Resealing a bowfront and would really like to remove the trim so I have more room inside for the reseal, Is there anyway to safely detach it so I can reattach it?

Usually there are just a few globs of silicone poorly holding it in place. Light prying is all it should take. Protect the edge of the glass as it can break when prying against it.
