how long would last in 180g?

Yes, great fish - smart fish - very enjoyable to watch (especially when they get excited). In a 180-gallon? Many years. Mine is in a 160-display and he's doing awesome. I got him when he was maybe 1.5" two years ago and he's probably 4" now.

I’ve had my desjardini in my 210 for 3 years went from 2” to around 5-6” now still no issues
