Sailfin Tang fast breathing

As the title say, i just bought this sailfin home about an hour ago. My aquarium temperature is 85F and the sailfin been breathing really hard i also noticed a white spot on his eye not sure if this ich or anything not sure if this a scar or what can everyone help me figure this out

Well at 85F I'm certain you have lack of oxygen in the tank. Any reason you're running it that warm?
my inkbird set degree at 80. when i check it today it say 85 and notice the fish been breathing like this. today a bit hot too so. right now i try to cool the water down a bit.

Well at 85F I'm certain you have lack of oxygen in the tank. Any reason you're running it that warm?
my inkbird set degree at 80. when i check it today it say 85 and notice the fish been breathing like this. today a bit hot too so. right now i try to cool the water down a bit.
Yes I'd say that's the reason it's breathing heavy. Try to supplement with air stone if you have it or point flow at surface until temp comes down.

Most people keep their tanks at 78F plus or minus 1 degree is fine.

Reduce temp adding ziplock bags of ice with air stone added. While temp may play a role, a video of fish will be of help to see anything you may have missed. Photo is dark and hard to tell anything
