The day has finally arrived!
Upgrading from my AquaJapan 44g pro:

Mariner 100
Dimensions: 48x22x22
VCA RFG- first time using them and they're awesome. They come stock with tank.

Planned stocking list:
Pair of Storm Trooper clowns-moving from existing tank

Pair of Yasha Hase gobies (wife & daughter call them Yasha mashas) In current tank, but they are not really friends.

Candy pistol shrimp

Trio of flameback angels - this is what I really want!

Looks familiar— I just assembled my black Mariner 100 stand yesterday (I’ll post a build thread eventually). Now to find some help to carry the beast of a tank out of my garage… that 5/8” glass makes it heavy!

It sure is! Thankfully my wife's cousin lives down the street. He came over and the 2 of us unloaded it from my truck and placed it on the stand, it wasn't too bad.

I've always been a Fiji Pink kind of guy, but switched it up this time. Went with special grade, 40lbs

Thank for checking it out, reef all the way! When I first made the structures I felt they were perfect for corals, but not so much for fish. I had to "bulk" them up and create a lot of crevices and holes for fish to swim through.

Yeah, it’s sometimes hard to balance out what we like and also do what is right for the inhabitants.

Thanks! It was my first time trying to build my own. Couldn't find anything locally and to order a prebuilt t structure was $200 for something small up to like 700. So figured what the heck. There are a few parts I probably could've changed, but Im still happy with it!

Im considering making a small shallow cave for the center... nothing too big, just maybe something small that I could entice my yashas to use when I put them in.

Sooo. I was bored and decided to build a demogorgan rock structure. Not sure how much I like it, as it makes it look cluttered. But I might decide to keep it and mount all the zoa's on the arms.

:face-with-tears-of-joy: MY wife told me the other day I need to add some other colors to the tank. But I only seem to be able to find green things for sale LOL Even the few SPS I have are...GREEN! haha

Oh I wish! Its my Pixel 9pro. I did adjust the "BLue Tone" down, otherwise the picture would have just been a glowing blue tank lol I might have overdone it on this picture. But it does highlight for me the crazy amount of green corals I have. :oops:
