So before WC, it reads 5.5 DKH in my tank, around that amount. Will prob post the WC amount in a few hours.

water being used for the WC is 9 DKH according to salifert low res. (update) IVE BEEN READING IT WRONG, the fresh salt mix is 12 DKH according to low resolution

Seems im just a fricking idiot. I was reading it wrong lol, tank is actually 9 DKH.

At proper salinity it would be almost impossible ( ALMOST) to have 5.5dkh without adding something such as acid to lower the alkalinity .

testing error was going to be my first thought
 
It was, i was using wrong plunger for results.
The final number is ~8.2 DKH. Most likely larger, as I used low resolution.
