Salifert test kit inaccurate?

Depending on how firmly you place the tip, it shows different levels. Am I supposed to completely press the tip all the way?

It makes no difference how the tip is attached, as long as it is not leaking air at the joint. The variable amount of air in the syringe is unimportant because the liquid amount will be unchanged. Even with no tip, or a tip so big the water never entered the syringe itself, the amount of fluid sucked up based on the movement of the syringe plunger movement is the same. :)

I just tested my Magnesium and it came out at 30 is that even possible?

Your right I found a video it is 1300

That sounds better. Some people read the syringe backward at first. Is that what happened?

One way to think about this is that with any syringe or drop count test kit, more liquid added before the color endpoint should be resulting in higher and higher values. :)
