So, I know that only freshwater evaporates, not the salt, however I've noticed what seems like a fine layer of salt building up inside the sump cabinet. On all the surfaces. If I run my hand over it, it seems like salt to me? No splashing in the sump so something is evaporating with the water and condensing inside the cabinet?

Salt creep apparently, but I don't know how when there's nothing splashing inside the cabinet sump area...
